St. Aloysius School participates in several standardized assessments aligned with our course of study. Schools in the Toledo Diocese administer the ARK (Assessment of Religious Knowledge) Test to grades 2-8.
Toledo Diocesan Catholic Schools also use the NWEA MAP Assessment as one part of the complete review of a child’s ability. All tests begin in relation to a student’s grade level and are taken online. The results are instantaneous and provide valuable data to guide teachers in instruction and intervention. The diocese requires the test for grades K-8 in the fall and spring. As a school we may test at other times of the year as needed.
