Junior high students and parents are able to check up on grades online through the use of a program called Option C. Grades are frequently posted and updated throughout each week. Parents have the advantage of instantly seeing how a student is doing in each class and if he or she has any missing assignments. In the case of lengthy school absences, a list of missed assignments is instantly available. Additionally, the program eliminates surprises at midterm or semester’s end. Security in the program is provided by each student having an individual password which allows access only to his or her grades.
At all grade levels, parents are given a log in for Option C in order to update their profile for our Parent Alert notification system and to order school lunches.
